Problem
University of Limerick wanted to showcase its sports scholarship programme in a way that felt authentic to the athletes and reflected the role environment, community and support play in helping people reach their potential.

Solution
LAUDHAUS created a cinematic film following six scholarship athletes as they pushed themselves to their limits. Inspired by the idea of the UL tribe, every sound in the soundtrack was created from recordings of the athletes themselves. Breaths, boxing gloves, rowing strokes, footsteps, splashes and moments of physical exertion were transformed into rhythm, percussion and musical texture, creating a score where the athletes became both the subjects of the film and the instruments of the music.
